Freedom of Information Guidelines
Freedom of Information Guidelines provide authoritative advice to decision makers on processing FOI requests and applying the FOI Act. The Guidelines prepared by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner replace the previous Freedom of Information Guidelines and should be consulted for current information. Further Guidelines will be added progressively. The previous Guidelines are still available online from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet website but should not be relied upon.
